Kyiv's administrative court of appeals has refused to satisfy an appeal by the Kyiv city territorial election commission requesting the court to remove Mykola Katerynchuk from the early mayoral elections in Kyiv.

 

"As I have predicted, absolutely all are getting involved in the question of my removal from the early elections in Kyiv: some of them [are involved] through lawsuits, others [are involved] through blocking outside advertising, publication of dirty materials, bribing of voters and other actions of this sort. Meantime, the ruling by the Kyiv administrative court of appeals shows that my team and I are ready to withstand any resistance," – the candidate for Kyiv mayor stressed.

 

"It is worth mentioning that the commission of Leonid Chernovetskyi, I mean the territorial election commission, has drawn up only one appeal - against me - while the number of registered candidates is almost one hundred," Katerynchuk said.

 

"I am emphasizing once again that anyone will fail to remove Katerynchuk. My decision concerning participation in the Kyiv campaign was a well-considered and deliberate one. I will go to the end and I will win the Kyiv elections," he said.
