The Foreign Affairs Committee Supported the Resolution on Application for EU membership

The Foreign Affairs Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported Mykola Katerynchuk’s resolution on Application for EU membership.

«Yesterday the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the Draft Resolution on Application by Ukraine for membership in the European Union (reg.¹ 6119 of 3/1/2010)», - the author of the Draft Resolution, the People's Deputy of Ukraine, the leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk  informed upon the Committee session ending.

«The Draft Resolution is developed with the aim of acknowledgement of the European integration priority for the foreign policy of Ukraine. Besides, approval of the Resolution by the Parliament will become acceleration pledge of the European integration processes and coordination of activities of all state authorities in this direction», - underlined Mykola Katerynchuk.

«Approval by the Parliament of the offered Resolution should become the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reply to the European Parliament Resolution on Ukraine, approved on February, 25th, 2010», - the People's Deputy told.
