Mykola Katerynchuk has expectations that Association and Free Trade Territories Agreements will be signed by the end of the current year

People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk has expectations that till the end of the current year Association and Free Trade Territories Agreements will be signed by Ukraine. His prognostication is based on the Sweden European Union presidency starting from July 1, 2009.

“Sweden has already declared that it aims at the support of “the Eastern Partnership” continuation and achievement of the progress in the Association Agreement with Ukraine. I am convinced that under the Sweden European Union presidency the Association and Free Trade Territories Agreements will be signed till the end of the current year”, - Mykola Katerynchuk underlined.

“Coming out of the intents and optimistic declarations by the Sweden Foreign Affairs Minister Carl Bildt sufficient support has been provided to Ukraine on its way to European integration and forthcoming to the EU. On this background consolidated position and taking measures for negotiation processes acceleration are the main priorities for the Ukrainian Government, the Parliament and the President”, - the Deputy mentioned.
