Mykola Katerynchuk had a working meeting with the Mayor of Warsaw


Today the candidate for the post of Kyiv Mayor Mykola Katerynchuk had a working meeting with the Mayor of Warsaw Ms. Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz. The principal topic of the meeting was the discussion of the problems of the Kyiv municipal transport development, mainly underground, and possible ways of their solution.
 
As the candidate for the post of Kyiv Mayor Mykola Katerynchuk stated that such meetings are of great use because “Kyiv extremely needs the better experience of the European cities. Europe has already solved the problems of the traffic jams, municipal transport and underground transport development, and city transport infrastructure in general. Ms. Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz’ visit is a good possibility for the experience exchange in this field” - stressed Mykola Katerynchuk.
 
The leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk as the candidate for the post of Kyiv Mayor foresees transport problems solution and development of the underground transport among principal missions. Due to his opinion the underground should work till 2.00 at night, the number of the moving units should be increased and such measures will enable shortening of the passengers’ waiting time up to 30 seconds. Mykola Katerynchuk also is planning to open 3 new underground stations every year and advance its directions up to ten.
