Volodymyr Bosak: East partnership is a duty bridge to democracy


Last week from October, 30 for November, 5, 2009 in Odesa with participation of All-Ukrainian Youth NGO «Youth European Movement» took place the Third seminar and Conference of graduating students of Network of leaders of civil society of «Prospect and calls of regional collaboration of civil society of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine».
 
 
The main themes of measure were become by calls and values of democracy, European identity and intercultural dialog in the region of Eastern Europe and Sonth Caucasus, initiative of «East Partnership» of EU (in the context of role of civil society), problem of co-operation of ungovernmental organizations and power, and ways of effective realization of international projects, in the field of democratic goverment.
 
The graduating students of the present program were become by the leaders of civil society, which were certain by a national selection in each of five countries and present ungovernmental organizations that operate in the field of defence of human rights and European integration. The annual cycle of the program made three seminars: in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. A project is carried out at support of the general program of European Union and European Council. “The participants of seminar expressed the hopes, that "East partnership", as an original answer for criticism of the European policy of neighbourhood, will become an effective step in direction of deepening of integration of east neighbours of EU, taking into account their European identity and will be a duty bridge to democracy in our countries», -  marked on results collection the Chairman All-Ukrainian Youth NGO «Youth European Movement» Volodymyr Bosak.
