The All-Ukrainian Youth NGO Youth Eoropean Movement conducted an All-Ukrainian conference «Institute of presidency in Ukraine: history and prospects of development».

 

 

On Decembers, 24, 2009 in Kyiv All-Ukrainian youth NGO «Youth European Movement» in a collaboration with Fund of Frederic Naumann for Freedom, by Department of education and science of Ukraine, Deputy club «Parliament» and magazine, the “People’s deputy” conducted the All-Ukrainian conference «Institute of presidency in Ukraine: history and prospect of development», which is devoted completion of project «President which needs young people».

 

 

The leaders of youth public organizations, political parties, experts, in the sphere of economy, legislation, policy, and also 10 winners of competition of essay «President which needs young people»  took part  in a conference.

 

 

At the beginning of conference a leader of project Volodymyr Bosak and co-ordinator of project Oleksandra Skiba are together with orchestras – Mykhajlo Churuta from the Deputy club «Parliament» and Dmytro Kulibaba from Department of education and science, congratulated the winners of competition and handed money rewards and certificates.

 

 

The winners  of the competition became:  Boris Bezzubko (m. Makijivka), Halyna Bilyachenko (m. Zhytomyr), Hanna Voronova (m. Kyiv), Vladyslav Mikhalev (m. Kharkiv), Oleksandr Dmitriv (m. Lviv), Tetyana Smetanyuk (m. Kamyanec'-podil'skiy), Ihor Pol'schikov (m. Kharkiv).

 

 

The three best works are Oleksandr Zhamba (m. Vinnytsya), Liliya Oprisk (m. Lviv) and Valeriy Reshetar (m. Kyiv). They will be printed in the January number of magazine «People’s Deputy».

 

 

For completion of solemn part a frisky discussion took place on the topic of conference. There were discussed issues of the constitutional reform of 2004 and prognosis of future reform, image of Ukraine at an international level, relations between power and young people. Also participants analysed activity of presidents of Ukraine for years the independence, considered the problems of economic plane. In particular, Serhij Londar, first vice-president of Academy of financial management of research financial institute, marked that one of the problems of development of economy of Ukraine there were absence of the Internal revenue code.

 

 

Will remind that the project of internal revenue code of the European party of Ukraine was repeatedly submitted for a review in parliament. Have a hope, that this question will be decided in the near future.

 

 

In opinion of most winners, question of forming of the Ukrainian national idea, have to be the first on the agenda both President of Ukraine and all society.

 

 

This conference became completion of project «President which needs young people» - first from three stages of more wide project in the context of which two is planned constituents: projects are «Member of parliament, which needs young people today» and «Parliament which needs young people today».

 

 

«Therefore idea of communication with young people by this project not completed, but will have logical continuation, in fact re-erecting of strong civil society on a base youths are the mortgage of strong Ukraine in the nearest future», - Volodymyr Bosak marked, head of All-Ukrainian NGO Youth European Movement.
