The activists of Zakarpattya regional organization of All-Ukrainian Youth NGO Yoth European Movement took part in a seminar on a theme: «Shengen and Slovakia-Ukrainian border»,  which was in Slovakia Republic in Stakchin from 20 to 24 of July, 2009.

 

 

On a seminar the General consul of Slovakia Mar’yana Sladecheka came forward in Ukraine and told about work of the Slovakia consulate in Uzhgorod in relation to the rules of delivery of Shengen visa visas. It reported that for the first half-year this year by Consulate 6 thousand visas were given out, with the term of stay not more than 7 days.

 

 

Participants of seminar, thanking the lectures of specialists, were in a position to familiarize with activity of European institutions, in particular, European parliament, Advice of the European union, European commission, European court and European central bank.

 

 

To listen lectures on themes: «Shengen agreement», «European citizenship», «Legal and illegal migration, to European Union», «Small boundary motion».

 

 

Also the members of Youth European Movement visited a boundary police in Sobranci. The European union is counted by the Slovakia border one of the best Shengen scopes.
